FAUNTLEROY FALL FESTIVAL

The Fauntleroy Fall Festival is an annual toast to the Fauntleroy Neighborhood. The event started over 20 years ago as a response to the unfortunate events of 9/11. Our neighborhood had changed; people were afraid. With new families moving into the neighborhood, we decided a humble gathering of a few hundred neighbors could be the spark needed to rebuild our community. That spark rekindled our community and has blossomed into an annual free event that will welcome over a thousand neighbors in a celebration of goodwill and camaraderie.

Certain things have remained in our 20 year legacy–we have and always will try to be free to our community. All activities at the festival are committed to making the event safe and fun for our neighbors and families. Our legacy activities–salmon hats, pumpkin painting, and birdhouse building have and will persist. Additionally, the endless support of our neighborhood organizations and companies that remain committed to keeping this event free to the neighborhood. We are forever grateful to our partners.

Certain things, unfortunately, have changed due to the changing nature of our neighborhood–chief among those is the costs required to provide this event and to keep it free for all neighborhood families. If you would like to help us toast the community, we ask that you consider a donation or volunteer to support the festival.
